EDITOR’S NOTE: Welcome to Off Camera with. . ., a Front Row series that introduces you to some of the studio anchors and hosts who have recently joined ESPN. Today, we meet Todd Grisham, a studio anchor who joined ESPN in October 2011.

Something we don’t know about you: I am currently training for an Olympic Triathlon in May with fellow SportsCenter anchor Jonathan Coachman. Keep us in your prayers.

Favorite team/sport – moments: My favorite sports moment was when Evander Holyfield knocked out Mike Tyson in their first fight. My dad never let us order PPV [Pay-Per-View].

“We’re already paying for cable, dadgumit!” he would say. But Holyfield was from where we lived in Atlanta and for some reason, my dad caved in and bought it. Holyfield was a huge underdog, but the fight was off the charts good and my dad, brother and I were jumping and screaming when Holyfield won.

We also did a group hug, which we immediately regretted. We aren’t really a “hugging” family. But it was a really special moment and I will never forget it.

Do you have pets and if so, what are their names? I have a Shih Tzu named Pele. We named him that mainly because I love soccer but also because our dog speaks Portuguese.

Favorite quote: “Everyone wants to save the world, but no one wants to help mom with the dishes.”
