Fainaru brothers at ESPN today to discuss forthcoming book, League of Denial: The NFL, Concussions and the Battle for Truth

ESPN investigative reporters Mark Fainaru-Wada and his brother, Steve Fainaru, will appear across ESPN today to discuss their forthcoming book, League of Denial: The NFL, Concussions and the Battle for Truth, which releases next Tuesday, Oct. 8.

The brothers are scheduled to join Bob Ley during today’s 11 a.m. ET SportsCenter and will also be on the 4:30 p.m. Outside the Lines with Ley. An excerpt from the book will post later this morning on ESPN.com and Oct. 14’s “The Bay Area” issue of ESPN The Magazine will contain the same book excerpt (on newsstands Friday). Pulitzer Prize winning reporter, Don Van Natta, Jr. will write a story regarding the book for ESPN.com. Colin Cowherd will have the brothers as guests on his radio show at approximately Noon ET today and the duo will also take part in an ESPN.com chat beginning at 1 p.m.

Today’s OTL will include a video clip from PBS’s FRONTLINE documentary, also titled, “League of Denial.” The brothers are featured prominently in the documentary which debuts on the day the book releases at 9 p.m. on most PBS stations.

The Fainaru brothers and ESPN have been at the forefront of concussion reporting, dating back several years and continue to aggressively report on concussions at all levels of football.
