The recent 30 for 30 Short film, Arthur and Johnnie, was directed by actor Tate Donovan, known for his roles on television dramas Damages and The OC.

The film, available on Grantland.com, is an exclusive first-person account by Johnnie Ashe that relays a previously unknown chapter of his brother Arthur’s legacy that changed the trajectory of Arthur’s tennis career and altered countless other lives.

In this Front & Center podcast, Donovan talks about the significance of Arthur and Johnnie’s story, this year’s US Open, and what it was like directing his first documentary film.
