The sixth edition of ESPN’s Face to Face with Hannah Storm series (tonight, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN2) will feature long-form interviews with four NFL stars – Vernon Davis, Clay Matthews, J.J. Watt and Russell Wilson.

Front Row caught up with Storm, a SportsCenter anchor – and successful film director/producer – to share her impressions of the stars on the upcoming show.

San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis:
At key crossroads in his life, Vernon Davis has continued to make a conscious choice to grow as a person and player. His determination through adversity since his childhood days is commendable. Davis is truly a self-made man who has become a leader, unafraid to pursue his passions and dreams.

Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews:
Despite his NFL pedigree, Clay Matthews had to fight every step of the way to get to the NFL. Once there, he’s had a unique appreciation of what it took to succeed. His sense of humor, individuality and passion to become a part of Packers history really shone through.

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt:
J.J. Watt is larger than life and Houston’s newest sports hero, in every sense of the word. He is a guy who spends NFL Fridays at high school football games and actively seeks out those in need of his kindness. What strikes me about this young man is his single-minded determination to dominate on the field and make a tangible, lasting difference, off the field.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson:
Just a year ago, Russell Wilson moved from battling for a starting spot to becoming one of the future faces of the NFL. Despite doubters at every level he’s played, he has immediately come in and galvanized his team by motivating his teammates. I got a better understanding of his superb work ethic, the depth of his connection with his wife, Ashton, and the city of Seattle, as well as how comfortable he is with competition, and himself.
