Yankees GM Brian Cashman talks about team’s ESPN appearances on Opening Day, Sunday Night Baseball
Last week, New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman visited ESPN’s Bristol, Conn. campus and crossed another goal off of his “bucket list.”
He appeared on several shows including SportsCenter, SVP & Russillo and Dan LeBatard is Highly Questionable as part of an ESPN “Car Wash.” He also spoke to the ESPN Digital Media team — at the request of Buster Olney, senior baseball writer for ESPN The Magazine — and participated in an online chat at ESPN.com.
In the video above, Cashman spent a few minutes with Front Row to discuss those matters and more, including the Yankees-Boston Red Sox rivalry and what it means to the Yankees when they play on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball.
This season, the Yankees play host the Red Sox on Opening Day — Monday, April 1 — at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN. They return to Sunday Night Baseball on April 14 against the Baltimore Orioles.
