Front & Center: Mike Greenberg discusses his first novel, All You Could Ask For
At the top of the 8 a.m. ET hour of today’s “Mike and Mike in the Morning” show on ESPN Radio, co-host Mike Greenberg announced his first novel, “All You Could Ask For,” will be released by William Morrow on April 2nd.
The book, according to the publisher, “weaves the stories of three unforgettable women – Brooke, Samantha and Katherine – who are strangers to one another, but whose lives are about to collide in a way none of them could anticipate.” (More information, including an excerpt and purchase information, are available here.)
Greenberg also revealed that 100 percent of the author’s proceeds will go directly to The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
“I wrote this book to honor the memory of a good friend of mine and my wife Stacy’s named Heidi Armitage, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2009 at the age of 43,” said Greenberg, who is in New Orleans for ESPN in advance of Super Bowl XLVII. “The V Foundation is an obvious organization to work with. [Co-host] Mike Golic and I have been honored to be a part of many great V Foundation events over the years. I’m so proud of our connection to The V Foundation.”
In the above “Front & Center” podcast, Greenberg discusses: what he’s learned from Paul Newman’s philanthropical work; how author John Irving inspired him; some of what the book is about; and what it means for him and Stacy to be able to work together on this project.
