During his 10-year major league career, John Kruk proved to be a versatile player, playing all three outfield positions as well as first base during his National League tenure, ending his career as a designated hitter.

Since joining ESPN in 2004, Kruk has been just as valuable. He’s been a fixture as a Baseball Tonight studio analyst and has also made cameos as a game analyst.

This season, Kruk joins ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball telecast – the exclusive national Major League Baseball game of the week – as a regular game analyst teaming with play-by-play voice Dan Shulman and fellow analyst Orel Hershiser in the Sunday Night booth.

In this Front & Center podcast, Kruk discusses his first season as a regular analyst in the Sunday Night booth; when he discovered he could have a TV career and his thoughts on some of the game’s rising stars.
