Freestyle Love Supreme warms up for its SportsNation gig this afternoon

What do 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, a phone call home, and ESPN’s SportsNation have to do with one another?

Watch Freestyle Love Supreme, a hiphop improv comedy troupe, weave those elements into an impromptu rap for our cameras Tuesday morning. The group will appear on SportsNation this afternoon (ESPN2, 4 p.m. ET). They performed a tune on the spot while waiting in the show’s green room in New Orleans, where SportsNation is airing this week in advance of Super Bowl XLVII.
