All Aboard: College GameDay heading to Oregon

Lee Corso has a long history with the Duck’s head.

College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will originate from Eugene, Ore. next week, the site of Saturday’s Pac-12 showdown between current No. 3 Oregon (10-0, 7-0) and No. 14 Stanford (8-2, 6-1).

ABC telecasts the game at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday. (Tonight, at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN2, watch the BCS Countdown presented by Vizio to see the new standings.)

College GameDay, in its 26th year, will be making its seventh all-time visit to the home of the Ducks and its fourth straight appearance.

Oregon has a 5-1 record when hosting GameDay with wins over Arizona State last season, Stanford in 2010, USC in 2009, ASU in 2007 and UCLA in 2000. The Ducks’ lone home loss was to California.

As it was last year, GameDay’s home base for the event will be in the memorial quadrangle area of campus.

College GameDay will air live at 9 a.m. on ESPNU and 10 a.m. on ESPN with host Chris Fowler, analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, and host/reporter Samantha Steele and Tom Rinaldi.

Brent Musburger and Herbstreit will call the Ducks-Cardinal game that evening with sideline reporter Heather Cox.
