ICYMI: The week on Front Row

Tonight at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN Radio, the San Francisco Giants will attempt to put a stranglehold on the World Series.

They own a 2-0 series lead entering Game 3 against the host Detroit Tigers.

No doubt Giants fans hope the next time they see their heroes in San Francisco, it will be for a victory parade.

But just in case the Tigers rally to force a return to San Francisco for a Halloween Game 6 or deciding Game 7 on Nov. 1, rest assured there will be hardy souls patrolling McCovey Cove behind the AT&T Park right field wall.

ICYMI: Highlights from the past week on Front Row
• College football’s mascot-picking scion Lee Corso has signed a two-year extension with ESPN. Corso has incorporated a bevy of live animal mascots into his selections this year and Front Row has the photos.

• ESPN Films’ latest 30 for 30 offering Benji is the tragic story of Ben Wilson, the first high school player in Chicago’s history to be ranked as the nation’s top recruit and his senseless 1984 murder. Front Row interviewed the directors of the piece, Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah.

• Front Row asked Detroit Lions legend and Pro Football Hall Of Fame running back Barry Sanders about his participation in last season’s Monday Night Football introduction.

•ESPN.com senior writer Wayne Drehs shared MLS goalkeeper Chris Seitz’s interview backstory with Front Row. Seitz is rehabbing for his return to the pitch just one month after donating bone marrow to a cancer patient.
