Now let’s look at the week on Front Row:
Front Row celebrated our nation’s birthday this week. For ESPN’s Brooklyn native Fran Fraschilla, the July 4 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest evokes a lifetime of great memories. We also profiled a fellow ESPN employee Rafael DelValle, an ESPN security specialist and former U.S. Army veteran as a part of our “Heroes Work Here. Employ excellence. Hire veterans” pledge.
Wimbledon coverage continues and we took a look inside the Centre Court “bunker”. In the video, ESPN’s Chris Fowler, Chris Evert and Mike Tirico talk about the privilege of calling matches from the historic spot.
Front Row talked with ESPN.com poker editor and blogger Andrew Feldman about the 2012 World Series of Poker: The Big One for One Drop which required a $1 million buy-in per player.
Most know Randy Johnson for his skills on the baseball mound, but we take a look at one of his other talents, photography. Johnson shot at the X Games in Los Angeles with ESPN Images.
