ESPN’s NBA Draft coverage from all angles

NEWARK, N.J. — Months of planning go into ESPN’s elaborate NBA Draft production. On Thursday night, a team of behind-the-scenes staff and on-air personalities collaborated to introduce fans to the latest crop of future NBA stars. From the first pick (Anthony Davis to New Orleans) to the last pick (Robert Sacre, Los Angeles Lakers), ESPN’s crew blanketed the event at the Prudential Center to showcase the evening when lives are changed forever.

Former NBA front office executive and current ESPN NBA analyst Tom Penn summed up the evening by noting: “The best part of the Draft for me is witnessing the dreams of these young men and their families come true. And to be part of ESPN’s Draft coverage live in front of thousands of enthusiastic fans is something I really enjoyed.”
