Greenberg co-hosts LIVE! with Kelly, gets two Olivia Wilde kisses

On Tuesday, ESPN’s Mike Greenberg told the Mike & Mike in the Morning audience that he wanted “every girl who ignored me in high school to tune in [to LIVE! with Kelly on Wednesday].”

Those mean girls who took Greenberg up on his request got quite an eyeful of their former classmate Wednesday morning as the nattily-attired New York City-native shared the stage with Ripa and stunning actress Olivia Wilde.

When Wilde greeted the co-hosts for her interview, she gave Greenberg not one but TWO cheek kisses.

“The whole thing was terrific,” Greenberg said.

“Kelly Ripa is exactly as you would hope she would be — very sweet and funny and smart. And, Olivia Wilde was very thoughtful and committed to her [movie] project in Haiti — and of course very beautiful.”

Greenberg and Ripa had a very natural rapport during the hour-long show, especially at the desk during the show’s first segment. Ripa and Greenberg also interviewed actor and comedian Kevin Hart and finished the morning by competing in some science experiments against each other. (Greenberg won the best of three series.)

Greenberg returns to his day job on Thursday and there is sure to be some good-natured ribbing from regular co-host, Mike Golic. The ESPN2 simulcast of Wednesday’s show included a “live look-in” at Greenberg and Ripa as they opened their show.
