Kiper on 29 NFL Drafts, Part II;
ESPN talent gets ‘Kiperized’

NEW YORK — Tonight at Radio City Music Hall in New York, ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. will work his 29th NFL Draft.

On Wednesday, we published Part I of our behind-the-scenes Front Row interview with ESPN’s longtime NFL Draft guru.

Here in Part II, Kiper discusses the encouragement and mentoring he received from his father and from legendary NFL General Manager Ernie Accorsi. He also talks about NFL Draft scouting’s niche beginnings, when he first started, and the thriving industry it has become today.

Meanwhile, as you can see below and on ESPN’s official Facebook page, Kiper’s influence has gone to a few of his colleagues’ heads.
