Baseball Tonight impersonations:
Rays infielder mimics Kurkjian

ESPN MLB analysts Terry Francona and John Kruk must be working together.

Last Thursday, Francona and a Baseball Tonight producer arranged for Toronto Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia to perform his now famous imitation of ESPN’s own Tim Kurkjian (see video below).

On Friday, Kurkjian sought his revenge by drafting Phillies’ closer Jonathan Papelbon to imitate his former Red Sox manager, Francona.

Little did Tim know that Tampa Bay Rays infielder Elliot Johnson was watching.

During Monday’s #BBTN telecast at Rays camp in Port Charlotte, Fla., Johnson unleashed his own Kurkjian impersonation (see video above).

Does this mean Kurkjian will be seeking revenge on Kruk, too?

The Baseball Tonight Goodyear Express Tour hits Boston Red Sox camp in Ft. Myers on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
