Week In Review

Another busy week is under our belts as we celebrated the debut of a new show, a milestone birthday, a prestigious national award or two or three… and, tomorrow, an anniversary.

We learned you can use principles of economics to break down the NBA and that the popularity of lacrosse is growing every year. We highlighted our company values of dedication and respect, and we went local, exploring the playoff coverage of our Dallas and Chicago dotcom’s. We caught up with a movie star, Indy drivers and a gold medal-winning Paralympic athlete during their visits to campus.

Next week we plan to take you down Audio Avenue as we unveil our new ESPN Radio studios in Bristol. Plus, we’ll reveal some of the planning behind the upcoming Women’s World Cup coverage, and we’ll learn who Sage Steele follows on Twitter as she preps for her assignment hosting the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

We extend a special thanks to our own Karol Sucec who returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan just a few months ago. She contributes to our Memorial Day weekend posts with stories on WWII memorabilia and commemorating Memorial Day overseas.

For now, we’ll take in a picnic or two and a parade as we reflect on those who have given so much to our country.
Have a great Memorial Day weekend.
